Drudge: CBS radio orders stations to carry Clinton Book Special
In advance - forgive me it's Drudge - but this is interesting. Freepers are going to be in full-moon howling. Course it's okay when all their RW pundits dutifully troop down to the WH for those radio days.

Move over Rush Limbaugh!

Bill Clinton is set to hit the talkradio waves with a live special promoting his new book -- one that CBS has ordered a "must carry" directive for all of its news affiliates, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

Each and every one of CBS's news and talk stations will be required to take the Clinton book special, now scheduled for next 6 PM ET Thursday -- whether local programming management wants it or not!

"It's going to be like one big commercial for the book! Why didn't Mr. Clinton's publisher just buy an hour," one angry executive for a CBS news station said late Monday. "This is not news, this is marketing. I already feel dirty!"

3. What they're saying is that ...

... CBS radio is programming a show that affiliates are contractually obligated to carry. Geez, sounds like "Bid-ness" to me!!!!!

BTW, this is the same company (Viacom) that produced the Bush on 9/11 propaganda piece!!! Viacom is the only network that isn't a COMPLETE right wing whore. In the eyes of wing-nuts, anyone who isn't 100% biased to them has a "left wing bias".

4. Kwitcher Bitchin, Mr. Angry Executive!
You knew there would be occasional "must-carry" programs when you signed that CBS contract, now dincha? And how dirty did you feel when CBS was tearing down Bill Clinton 24/7?

6. If you have a CBS radio - thank them for carrying
Cause you know the Freepers will be sending their hate mails.

8. He feels dirty
Bwaaahahaha.

But not about anything else that's happened over the last 2 decades since Reagan's FCC got rid of the Fairness Doctrine? Thirty hours a week of Limbaugh's RNC advertisements doesn't phase him? (And that's not to mention all the other RNC-talkers racking up their own 30 hours a week.) Un-freakin-believable.
