26. There are at least 2 threads tonight that are purely designed to get
DUers panties all in a bunch for nothing. And each one of them has at least 100 responses. Why do DUers fall for that trap? The best thing is to never even answer such posts.

I've been sending money for a couple of years, and buy T-shirts as gifts.

I haven't had these discussions before - maybe others have, sorry for being witless about DU etiquette if it bothers most. (and frankly if it does, this may not be the place for me to vent/express)

Sometimes I'll start a thread and then the kids will start screaming or I'll have to go do something and I'm not able to come back for several hours.

It's always a possibility. I wouldn't always assume that just because someone doesn't respond it's deliberate.

However, there have been many of these threads started lately. They are usually very volatile subjects (sexism, racism, abortion, religion) and are posed as questions. If you asked a question that you really wanted answered, why would you post it at a time that is inconvenient for you to read and reply?
