2. Stupid Poll...As Usual
How does one win a war on a word? Have we eliminated it from the language?

We fight wars against nations, entities...not concepts or substances (war on drugs???). And these aren't wars you win...especially with Apache hellicopters.

Look at what a joke Karzai has become. He lives in a glass bowl protected by our soldiers or he'd be dirt napping by now.

What I fear is this will be viewed as a military failure...pushed on the kids who are stuck in this "war" and not on those who created and profit from it for personal and political gain.

I won't even waste my time on this one.

3. Numbers are surprising
with 96,000+ votes - it just goes to show the Neocons that their lies have not "trickled down" to the masses as they had hoped.

Done - and :kick:

4. Whew..now we can rest easy
Can we add this to our list of Mission Accomplished "achievements"?
Anyone care to wager how long it will be before a major outbreak of fighting begins there?

6. Just a shame
I mean, we could have done some serious good in Afghanistan if we had stayed the course there and committed actual resources towards improving that country. Instead, we have 2 countries that are raging out of control with too few resources to effectively deal with either of them.
