remember the former RW military couple across the street....
He was wounded in iraq....
They arrived home yesterday.... sloane has lost his spleen, half a lung and two toes...
We immediately took them drinking with our liberal friends.... they were introduced as converst and were well received.
In the end, sloane put the empty 12 pack box on his head and said "I'll bet the president has a hat like this... only not as good!"

Do they see now that Bush and his war are wrong?

That has to be tough. It's one thing to think you gave a spleen, part of a lung, and some toes for something worthwhile. To think you sacrificed for nothing must hurt. At least, he's alive.
