The real reason Bush is trying to link Saddam to al-Qaeda

And our mainstream media won't pick up on it.

"A USA Today article points out that in a letter to Congress on March 19, 2003, President Bush said the Iraq war was permitted under legislation authorizing force against those who "planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001." Plus: 'White House caught in web of deceptions.'"

Bush shamelessly rode 911 as long as he could. Partisanship aside, has any politician taken advantage of a failure so massive and tried to make it the center of their campaign? Hubris doesn't begin to describe it.

when we HAVE VIDEO/AUDIO TAPE OF THEM SAYING THOSE THINGS! For the debates, Kerry needs something so when Bush starts to lie about what he said, he can just push the play button and show the video of Bush saying it. How would that look Fox!!!!!!!!

Notice the weasel words. He's linking *IRAQ* to Al-Queda.

That's because Ansar al-Islam, and Al-Queda offshoot, was active in the Kurdish NorthEast. Al-Queda was in Iraq, hence there *IS* an Iraq - Al-Queda link.

Weasel words, like I said.
