Bush and Cheney say, "who you gonna believe - us or your lying eyes.?."

You see, they know their supporters will believe anything they tell them. If the 911 Commission says there was no connection between Saddam and al Qaeda, they say, "Don't believe a word of it - there was a connection.." With the help of Hannity and Limbaugh,etc.. the brainwashed followers will believe Bush and Cheney and discount the investigation of the 911 Commission. That's just the way politics is in todays world.

The press cannot let up on these lying rascals. They spit at the truth if it might threaten their political chances. They don't have to outrun the bear - they only have to outrun the Democrats. They only have to convince their followers to ignore the facts and accept what their annointed leaders tell them.

This administration -- along with Limbaugh, Hannity etc. -- has made cognitive dissonance into a political party.
