So, Mr. Bush; “Now you’re ‘John Hammond.’”
Edited on Sat Jun-19-04 10:14 AM by KansDem
Remember that line from the 2nd “Jurassic Park” movie?
How the nephew, “Peter Ludlow,” believing his uncle was inept and feeble, wrested “InGen” from him?
And how he was now going to run the corporation better, and through arrogance and greed, unleashed a Tyrannosaurus Rex on the city of San Diego?

Remember?

Remember how “Dr. Ian Malcom” turned to him amid the chaos, death, and destruction, and said, “Now you’re ‘John Hammond’?”

Remember that, Mr. Bush?

Ever since you stole the White House from the American people, you’ve engaged in a never-ending of succession of lies and deception.

And all for the greed of the corporation.

You’ve embarrassed America.
You’re arrogance isolated our allies and nullified important international treaties.
You’ve disgraced America.
You authorized preemptive, illegal, immoral war based on lies and deceit.
You’ve killed over 800 brave American men and women in our military.
You’ve murdered thousands of innocent Iraqi citizens.
You have made us ashamed of ourselves.
You authorized torture: Rape and beatings that boggle the civilized mind.
We can no longer claim the moral high-ground.

You’ve made us the most hated nation on Earth.

And why?
To control the flow of oil in the Middle East.

Once again, we're having hostages taken in the Middle East.
With the help of the Iranians who held 52 American hostages for 444 days, you’re daddy and his friends smeared Jimmy Carter in the 1980 election.
Investigations revealed Reagan aides made a deal with the Iranians to hold onto the American hostages.
Hold on to them until after the 1980 election. All intended to bring down Jimmy Carter and install the Bushistas in the White House.
And it worked and would have remained secret if Eugene Hasenfus hadn’t survived a plane crash in Nicaragua Gary Sick and others (when we still had a real “Fourth Estate”) investigated and concluded your daddy and others were involved in a secret, illegal scheme to sell Stinger missiles to the Iranians and to use the proceeds to fund the secret, illegal war in Nicaragua (it appears “secret and illegal” best describes you and your ilk).

Didn’t happen, you say?

Then why did your daddy have to pardon six members in the administration of the “Great Communicator?”
Six Reagan administration officials who were either on their way to or were faced with the prospect of prison?

And now we hear of yet another hostage beheaded in Iraq.
And you and your criminal cohorts haven’t a clue as to what to do.
Jimmy Carter was a decent, honorable man beset by indecent, dishonorable foes.
Say what you will about Jimmy Carter, but the 52 hostages in Iran returned safely.
Hostages taken under your “command” cannot say the same thing.
They cannot say the same thing because they are being murdered, slowly, one after another, in a manner that disgusts Americans, while America stands by helplessly.

And why?
To control the flow of oil in the Middle East.
And all for the greed of the corporation.

There is now a monumental Hell of chaos, death, and destruction in the Middle East.

So, Mr. Bush, “Now you’re ‘John Hammond.’”
What are you going to do?

3. The Jurassic Park analogy is apt enough
except that John Hammond started out with some good intentions and later recognized his mistakes.

5. San Diego wouldnt have been a serious loss

It's mostly Republican

And fanatically anti-tax. They won't even tax themselves to get adequate fire protection, which is why - in part - they were decimated by the fires last year.
