Stars and Stripes letter: Can Fox News be trusted?
Edited on Sat Jun-19-04 10:22 AM by lebkuchen
I’ve been reading Stars and Stripes since my deployment to Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom.

I’d like to thank your paper for getting information to the deployed soldiers.

I just wanted to admit something to everybody: I am selfish enough to support any cause supporting me. I would even support people who support my cause; I want to call these people “friends.”

Bias is OK since I’m talking about friends of mine; it’s only natural. Anyway, if I owned a corporation, I’d have a lot of money, and tax breaks help a lot.

Money influences people’s lives. And, if I had an old friend of mine get promoted to a government office, and he was willing to make that kind of difference, then maybe others might consider him a well-to-do, decent, honorable man.

On the subject of news, I don’t know if soldiers, sailors, airmen or Marines actually are too busy, but they should know the possibility of tainted news from a certain source.

The corporate owners of Fox News have contributed to the president’s campaign. Therefore, in theory, Fox News could be in a position to influence the president’s decisions.

Knowing corporate owners are associated with the president might explain why Fox News always acts so differently from the other networks.

Can we trust Fox News to give us independent thinking?

1. Thinking, That’s the key word in this story
Fox news is not set up for the “Thinking Man”, Its for the rabble of lazy and incompetent Americans who look for information to support their fucked up philosophies.
Hell’ I know a freeper who sometimes even laughs at the spin they put on their stories.

They should be sued for false advertising.
Fair and Balanced my Ass, Fucking Nazi bastards.:dem:
