Everything I need to know about John McCain I learned from Patty Hearst

1). Hearst...rich heiress, kidnapped, threatened by SLA

2). McCain...politician, seeking nomination, gets the Karl Rove treatment over his non-existent illegitimate "black" child, among other things, ruined before he's out of the gate with false, slanderous material from "the man with the plan"

3). Hearst, in captivity and through reinforcement of brainwashing techniques, identifies with her captors, "joins" the SLA and starts reading their manifesto before the TV cameras

4). McCain, in captivity of the Republican party and through its own reinforced brainwashing techniques, identifies with his party after repeated hints of a VP offer from Kerry, "joins" the Bush re-election campaign and starts reading the manifesto of Karl Rove and Karen Hughes before the TV cameras.

Patty Hearst...John McCain...two lives, same story. "Victims" become "Enablers."

I saw yesterday on C-Span, watching him introduce the Evil War Chimp at a campaign rally in Reno. So can I assume the talk about him as a potential running mate is over?

But....now he's bush's bitch. Go figure! :shrug:

I haven't seen footage of any of McCain's stumping for Bush....was it really that bad?

His battle with Bush was a battle between egos and old money families, Bush just happened to have more power. And like most politics, it got dirty, but I noticed they did not go after McCain with the truly damaging stuff like Keating Five, Mafia connections or Black Mesa (not that the GOP cares about the Navajos). A gentlemen's agreement perhaps?

And despite his reputation as a maverick (which McCain plays up himself) he always falls in line when push comes to shove. No brainwashing involved. And he was supporting Bush before Kerry VP offers began.

This is a man who suffered torture but forgot what he learned from it. Bush* is a dimwit at best and a demon at worse. McCain sadly enough is just another jack-off politician.
