investigative journalist and historian Roger Morris who served on the senior staff of the National Security Council under Presidents Johnson and Nixon until resigning over the invasion of Cambodia. He mentioned that the US was fined $16 billion for its actions
against the US.  He said that the Reagan administration did
not pay it, but did he ever say if anyone ever did pay it?

This hasn't been a good week for that.

BTW, welcome to DU.

You might want to listen to the Guy James Show in about an hour. It's kinda the unofficial DU radio program. Guy is a regular here at DU, posting under the name of Beachbuckeye. The show produces a lengthy thread every week.

Give it a try.

thanks for the leads. Listened to Guy James for the first two hours. A little too much grousing and not enough substance. Callers seemed to either be either itching for a fight or wanting to pile on to the Right. Will look for a TiH discussion next week during the show. Will give James another listen too. But, given what I have heard, I prefer NPR and AA.
