So the New York Times reviewer thinks Clinton lied about Real Estate?
Edited on Sat Jun-19-04 02:07 PM by trumad
There are so many things wrong with this review but it's typical when you have a book reviewer with no knowledge of history reviewing a book about history. The reviewer bitches about Clinton Bitching about Ken Starr and the Right Wing enemies that went after Bill C. Uhhh MS. KAKUTANI, the Right Wing enemies are a huge part of the Clinton Presidency and he has every right to crush these bastards in print.

Then the reviewer blows her er lack of knowledge regarding Clinton in the last sentence of the review:
"Lies about sex and real estate, partisan rancor over "character issues" (not over weapons of mass destruction or pre-emptive war), psychobabble mea culpas, and tabloid wrangles over stained dresses all seem like pressing matters from another galaxy, far, far away."

Uhhhh excuse me Lady, but Kenny Starr the same asshole you mentioned up above spent 70 million bucks of our money trying to prove that Clinton lied about Real Estate and didn't fucking do it.

Once again folks the NY Times strikes again!

1. Irrational, just plain stupid, or selfish?
I'm trying to decide why people fawn over utterly corrupt figureheads like Reagan, while condemning a truly good and patriotic man like Clinton. Reagan lied about matters central to our democracy, but they think it is worse that Clinton lied about an affair. It is time to take back our Nation from these idiots and restore rational government that serves all Americans, not just the rich.
Has the NY Times fired Judith Miller yet? If not, they have zero journalistic credibility.

3. She ripped Hillary's book last year.

She has a ingrained hatred of big name authors and big advances.

But she's a Pulitzer Prize winner and considered the nation's foremost book reviewer.

6. EVERYONE hates her. She ripped Lynne Cheney's books too.

Some people are just assholes. This is just a put down of a celebrity author. This reviewer just thinks that only WRITERS should write.

5. Sorry, but this reviewer has zero influence
As if book sales are going to be affected by this review...

It's already pre-sold 1.5 mil copies.

Reviewers do not necessarily reflect the public. Remember how the media was "puzzled" that Clinton had sky-high job approval ratings even during impeachment?
