Jerry Fallwell's White Citizens Council membership
Im trying to find out if there is any additional information about Jerry Falwell's membership in the Virginia White Citizen's Council back in the early 1960's. Falwell refuses to talk about it these days, but he has admitted at recently as 1987 that he was a member. I've seen state chapter records that list his name as a member of the Lynchburg, Virginia chapter. Does anyone have any additional documentation or links on this? I'd like to know if there are any surviving memoranda or other documents that provide insight into Falwell's white supremacist views. Any help is appreciated.

with Strom Thurmond, George Wallace, and those two slaveowners that Nixon tried to appoint to the Supreme Court.

Falwell really was a member of the WCC in Virginia. That much is fact. Many people were members of that organization back in those days. I just want to know if there are any documents around that I haven't seen.
