Mortician Bill Frist on Faux sunday morning: Scientists lie, essentially
Edited on Sun Jun-20-04 08:26 AM by LittleApple81
I was channel surfing looking for MTP; there is Frist saying basically: "Scientists greatly exaggerate the potential of stem-cell research to help in certain diseases, , Alzheimer’s for example." That is when I escaped the Faux vortex into another channel... with Mr. PotatoFace...sigh... we need a real LIBERAL channel... not to spout crap but to ANALYZE things intelligently and ask good questions from guests. But I will have to settle for MTP today... I think I will be able to do that, at least.
The Commission members now on.

3. I will always be grateful
that politics offered "doctor" Frist an alternative to getting anywhere near sick people needing help.

Now if we can just retire the ignorant, arrogant piece of overpaid shit to a golf course somewhere.

7. Exactly! I am so ashamed he is one of
my senators. His greed and arrogance are just two of his "good" attributes!

4. Every journey starts with a single step. Scientists are optimists, not...
...liars, and that's what makes America great.

I can't stand these Republicans who don't believe America can do great things and won't let us try if they think it's going to help their chances of staying in power.

5. I heard that! Never ceases to amazes me...
how the Frister can lie by omission: embryos are destroyed in in vitro fertilization, but you don't hear him advocating it as morally wrong, do you?

10. Wealthy Republicans use IVF to reproduce
Can't possibly outlaw it then. Might reduce the population of Republicans

8. Frist rebuts Nancy Reagan
Edited on Sun Jun-20-04 09:01 AM by gulliver
Of course Nancy just lived through 10 years of hell and probably had the best doctors in the world helping her husband... But hey, Dr. Frist has an opinion too.

Frist is a known liar. I still haven't come to terms with the fact that the Senata Majority Leader is a guy who fraudulently adopted cats from an animal shelter only to kill and dissect them. He admitted it in his book, but people just forgive him. It's not the cruelty (bad as that is); it's the fraud.

9. Oh, is that what all those feline autopsies in medical school
Edited on Sun Jun-20-04 09:05 AM by ElectroPrincess
were all about for you, huh? Doc-TOR Bill Frist turned faith healer? Is it any wonder that "Hello Kitty!" Frist (falsely adopting Kitty-Cats at shelters to later kill) and the "Crisco Kid" (fundy who thinks Calico cats are the sign of the devil) get along so famously. They're making HIStory ya know. :P

What a crone! Our Senate Majority Kitten killer:

"Frist is an animal lover who said his decision to become a doctor was clinched when he helped heal a friend's dog. But Frist now found himself forced to kill animals during medical research. And his new dilemma was finding enough animals to kill. Soon, he began lying to obtain more animals. He went to the animal shelters around Boston and promised he would care for the cats as pets. Then he killed them during experiments. "It was a heinous and dishonest thing to do," Frist wrote. "I was going a little crazy."
