Quitting looking for transcript of MM on This Week. I found RW attacks
against him galore.... HOW DEPRESSING. This "article" has apparently been "the memo" on RW publications (came up on uncounted googled pages). Citing part of it so you can see PART of what is going on:

HOLLYWOOD VS. AMERICA
Michael Moore film
appeals to terrorists
'Fahrenheit 9/11' gets thumbs-up from Hezbollah

Opponents of filmmaker Michael Moore are making the most of an endorsement his Bush-bashing film "Fahrenheit 9/11" received from terrorists affiliated with Hezbollah.
The Guardian of London reported today organizations related to the Middle East-based terrorist network have offered to help promote the film in the United Arab Emirates.
The terror-war supporting organization Move America Forward released a statement today saying the news about Hezbollah proves a contention it made about terrorist endorsement of Moore's award-winning documentary.
Earlier this week, Move America Forward Vice Chair Melanie Morgan declared: "It would be more appropriate to have this propaganda shown at al-Qaida training camps rather than American movie theaters."

1. they are scared and desperate
the fact that they are resorting to this kind of thing shows how powerful Moore's film really is, and how threatening it is, because it shows a series of truths that has been so carefully hidden from the US public.

If they are resorting to this kind of thing, it means the film is extremely effective, that they are scared shitless, and getting desperate. That's a good sign, though I understand what you're saying.

I think the buzz about the film from people who actually see it will overwhelm this right wing propaganda attempt at silencing all criticism of the Chimp in Chief.

2. It wouldn't have gotten nearly as much press
if they'd just all shut up and said, "No comment". In fact, it would be nice if the RW would do that on EVERYTHING.

4. His next movie should be about the RW's tactics and censorship.
Also the media being cheerleaders for BushCo. That needs to be brought out big time.

5. In the new America
Edited on Sun Jun-20-04 11:30 AM by mmonk
questioning, free speech, and opposition to a war or positions of our new cult rulers is considered support for terrorist. The fact that some terrorist groups back it being shown is proof. Truth and righteouness is never asking questions, blindly following right wing radicals and learning their world view no matter if it is false, and never dare question any false assertions by your new right wing gods because free thought also indicates you support terrorist. In other words, if you are an original American and support these things along with the constitution, US and international law, you support terrorism instead of the taught "truth" of the new America.

6. They are working too hard
To keep this movie from the American public. If, as they say, it's nothing but propaganda and lies, what's the big deal? Obviously they know it's not just a bunch of lies or they wouldn't be trying to hard to shut it down.

Hey, MAF assholes, if you're here reading, you're TOO TRANSPARENT. Try to be a little more subtle.

7. worldnet daily...
...is scaife funded. The purpose of denigrating Moore is to keep the right-wing base in line. I've seen this tactic play out over and over again in the past eight years. They MUST give their own people disinformation so they won't begin to ask any questions.
