What a depressing world the fundamentalists of the world (Christian, Jewish, Islamic...) have created. Perversion of scripture is the law of all lands.

1. religion and nationalism...
suck. Here in Ivoryland we need no gods or national figureheads to know what is a GOOD/fun/kind/licious thing to do. Can't fathom what is taking the rest of humanity so long.

Don't watch beheadings.

2. I won't watch.
It will be done with by the time I arise.

3. Funamentalists suck in general.
Think about how much more peace we would have in this world if it weren't for these religious idiots.

4. The most savage wars in history are fought with religious overtones
We have Muslim fundamentalists whose religion persuades them to ram airplanes into buildings, killing thousands. We have Christian fundamentalists who salivate over the prospects of a Clash of Civilizations between Judeo-Christianity and Islam because they think it will speed the coming of the Rapture.

I believe in God, but fanaticism is why I have yet to formally join an organized religion.
