it's impossible to understand anyone without knowing their childhood. Clinton was our real, ELECTED president for EIGHT YEARS; I plan to read every word.

I am sure it will be a good read! But that is basically what I am going to tell people who complain that it is "too long. . ."

The republican smear fest on President Clinton is perfect because:

- It has stopped all the talk about where Kerry stands on all the Administration screw-ups, trying to interject him into the middle of their circle firing squad

- It is reminding viewers of the how biased and unfair the media treated the Clinton's compared to the Bushes. Rational people will also compare Peace vs War, Prosperity vs recession and I hope realize how screwed the corporate media has gotten

liberals with money. Streisand, Soros, Kerry, Kennedy, Corzine...and now, Bill Clinton. Wingnuts hate liberals. But liberals with money? Makes them foaming at the mouth rabidly enraged with fury.

the media jumping all over it. They have learned absolutely nothing in the past four years. They're still giving Bushco a big, giant ass-kissing hall pass and they're jumping all over the Big Dog. Why does the media hate us so? What exactly have we done to them? And when, exactly, will they realize they are being used by the right to promote their reckless and might I point out, un-American, agenda? It is so depressing to me to watch this shit happen all over again. The time being spent analyzing Clinton's every word and action is ridiculous to me. Have we seen one millisecond of air-time spent psycho-analyzing Bush in the past four years? Hell no. If the press had spent one second analyzing Bush & his band of war criminals and their half-baked excuses and flat-out lies for attacking Iraq, the way they've spent attacking Clinton & the Democrats, not one American would have died over there because the American people would never have allowed the war to begin.

What happened to the press? When exactly did they decide to collectively roll over and play dead against the Republicans and become vicious attack dogs against the Democrats? I'm so sick of the double-standard. How sad is it that Jon Stewart is the only person on television with the balls to use Bush & Cheney's own words against them and shout it out to the heavens that these people LIED. And they didn't lie about sex--they lied about WAR. This is not rocket-science people--it's supposed to be your fucking jobs! If you're too lazy to actually report and to ask the hard questions--all you really have to do is splice some video together like Jon did last night. Just how many more Americans have to die because of woeful inadequacies of our so-called "liberal" and "free" press? :nuke:

WASHINGTON -- Former President Bill Clinton is back in the national spotlight to promote his autobiography, just in time to remind us of how trivial his sexual shenanigans with Monica Lewinsky were compared with the Bush administration's spin job concerning its war in Iraq.
After all, no one died in Monica-gate. No one was tortured. Our international allies were shocked or amused, but not alienated.
The Bush White House, by contrast, is in full spin mode to downplay a bracing conclusion of the bipartisan Sept. 11 commission that it found "no credible evidence" that Iraq and Saddam Hussein were involved in the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks on the United States.
Team Bush turned on the media, insisting it never asserted any such connection. "This administration never said that the 9/11 attacks were orchestrated between Saddam and Al Qaeda," President Bush said. "We did say there were numerous contacts between Saddam Hussein and Al Qaeda."
