Fandango: F-911 accounts for nearly HALF of ticket sales!
On Tuesday, the online ticketing service Fandango calculated that "Fahrenheit 9/11" had accounted for 42 percent of its ticket sales for the past week, an unusually strong number for a documentary. A publicist for Fandango said the company controls 70 percent of the online movie-ticket sales business.

The audience-tracking service Nielsen NRG found high awareness for the movie, with 67 percent of those surveyed saying they knew about it and 35 percent saying they were definitely interested in seeing it, according to Daily Variety.

5. How do you feel if you're Michael Eisner? Are you relieved that you're not
going to part of the the end of Bush's career in politics? Or are you worried that the BoD are going to thinking about your neck when the look at the grosses next Monday morning.

8. I am so pissed off..........
I live in Northern Idaho (Lewiston) and the closest theatre showing Fahrenheit 911 is in Spokane. This is such a conservative part of the country that I wouldn't be surprised if it never shows here.

I am making a trip to Portland later this summer, so I guess I will have to wait till then. Damn! I want to see it now!

11. I'll bet a sawbuck against a cold cup of coffee it will never be shown
within 100 miles of you...while I think about the fact that much of the most beautiful parts of our nation are populated with mostly inbred morons. How do you deal with it?........sheesh

13. You wouldn't believe the ignorance........
Well, maybe you would. It's unbelievable the number of Fox News watchers and people who think the Dixie Chick disgraced themselves. It's very hard living here and having the political persuasions that I do.

16. It needs to break 10 million
10 million on a little under 900 screens would be absolutely amazing. It would crush every record for a documentary and probably translate into a 150 million dollar franchise vehicle. The following weekend the movie will be showing on double the screens it was on. Theatre owners will smell the money and book that sucker. It will continue to play on independent theatre screens for months. Once it's out on DVD, cha-ching!

You know what's funny, Moore promised to spend all of his Bush tax-break on defeating Bush....

hehe

17. I never thought of buying movie tickets online before
Even though I do every single other thing online.

Fandango should thank MoveOn and Michael Moore for a whole new clientele.
Now I'm registered and I'll probably do it again. Wake up America. More than HALF the country are DEMOCRATS.
