Schwarzenegger advisor Buffet suggests Ca. property taxes too low
Arnie's new advisor multi-millionaire (or is it billionaire) Warren Buffet suggested in an interview with the Wall Street Journal that California "property taxes need to be higher."

Now how will all those home owners around the state react to this? Davis should pounce on this statement--you know the GOP would if it were on the other shoe.

1. LOL God love Buffett for saying that
Arnold just lost the middle class vote and the senior vote. Their property taxes are tied to Prop 13...the brain child of the Goldwater Republicans.

2. Well, that's probably going to put a few more elderly out
on the street. Actually, it will reverse the Jarvis ammendment, proposition 13, from way back when we first started seeing the homeless. Property taxes provided money for a lot of programs for people in mental hospitals and old age homes. It also did help old people who couldn't pay increasing property taxes because the value of their properties was rising.

So I guess we will put the elderly out on the street. Of course the homeless still won't get any help. But Enron will do well. Such a country.

3. It was a voter mandate...they can't reverse it without putting it to the
voters.
