OH BOY...The knock at the door revealed...
2 fellas...bibles in hand,short sleeve white shirts and ties on wanting to "share the message of Jesus Christ" with me. "not today boys" was my reply and they wanted to know if there would be a better time, and I closed the door on them. I waited 5 minutes and stepped out on the porch, and oddly enough they seem to have disappeared.
Will bad things happen to me now? :shrug:
Maybe they found out I'll be going to see "Fahrenheit 9/11" this evening!:scared:

...ok, for those that don't recognise this pic its Howard Hessman from the movie Clue. He shows up in the movie selling salvation but turns out to be an FBI agent investigating the case. I hate explaining the joke. :grr:

7. Well...
my dog went ballistic, but they didn't seem too worried, just stood there grinning at me.
I am playing hooky from work today...wonder if that has anything to do with it? :shrug:

13. I've had the Mormons drop by-they're nice enough young men
When I lived in Detroit, I lived near their temple (they bought an old greek orthodox church-a beautiful building). They always sent them out in pairs, riding bikes around and distributing the Book of Mormon about town. I kind of respect their willingness to go into some of the worst neighborhoods around on bicycles!

I never had a problem with them. They were always polite, usually nice-looking and knew when to give up the spiel.

I lived in SLC for 6 years. They come in threes there.
