romanticize the way we want it to be?"
Two quotes I've figured out during my existence on this paltry planet.
We won't know the effects of F911 for a couple weeks. That is when we should other be thankful or be worried, at least about the election. As I've said before, I give Moore serious cred for putting his life in jeopardy by doing this. Just as long as he doesn't put in too many, um, embellishments.
"A Beautiful Mind" was also filled with half-truths and omissions and people bought into how it was presented on screen as being THE truth. This is DANGEROUS. People also need to read up on things they see. But that's a rambling...
Michael Moore's documentary is, INITIALLY, doing well because he got big awards for his last one (which had a few embellishments added). People remember the big stars. After a while, people TURN on the big stars, and the more the celeb does something wrong, the more the people will turn against him. So Moore had better be 100% factual in the future or else the people will turn against him and cripple our cause. Imagine that, Moore is the next Nader. O8)
Also, other movies started out really well and died off after 1 week because it was hyped. F911 was hyped. Spider-man 2 has been very hyped, but we all know Spidey's going to take away some viewers, at least initially...
We are being way too premature in saying F911 is successful. We need to wait a couple of weeks, I've said that too.
