I mean, really, if this was a blockbuster only in Berkeley, Madison and NYC that would be one thing, but how do these "he's only preaching to the choir" critics explain the overwhelming demand for this movie in places like Plano, Texas or Richmond, Va.?

Haven't they seriously underestimated our numbers?

2. That's why they are scared.. Their chummy little news-pals
have been sending out propaganda for years, about how "they" were the majority, and the real majority, folks like us, have been too busy or too distracted to make a scene..

We are not going to sit idly by anymore.. What they have done this time around, is to have gone TOO FAR...

This movie should have tv and neswpaper execs salivating.. They have got to see with their own eyes, that there is a HUGE underserved market out there.. The sad thing is that even though they know it,they will be too afraid to take advantage beacuse it would mean making some tsunami sized waves..

3. only partially true -
"f911 sold out in red states" - according to Moore

plenty of anecdotes right here on DU regarding as of recently 'former conservatives'.

if anything, "the passion of the christ" was more preaching to the choir then f911.

4. Preach on.
You HAVE to preach to the choir.

It's the only way to make 'em sing.

5. That really is something
I hope the corporate news media also realizes that there are many on the left that no longer trusts them or finds them credible...and that we DO consitute a part of the population.

I'm not going to be holding my breath though.

6. Yes --
Some of "they" have underestimated our numbers, but that's because there's been a very successful suppression of our goddamned VOICES for years now.

Some of "they" (mainstream media) don't care about our numbers, because their agenda is not JUST profits, but power and control over the masses in favor of plutocracy.

IMO it's a miracle this movie got made, and an even bigger one it got distributed at all. BOY! did "they" ever misunderestimate Michael Moore -- and, hopefully, us as well.

This is the 2nd phase (Howard Dean was the first) of a genuine Liberal Resurgence.

Now, if we can just beat the machines in November.
