Nixon announced end of DRAFT 32 years ago today: June 28, 1972.

But it's coming back on April 1, 2005, if Bush is reselected.

BUSH '04 = DRAFT '05

KERRY '04 = PNAC OUT THE DOOR!

They may not even wait until the November.
I was going to say "until after the elections"
but if they start up the draft before November
there won't be any elections.

Today's USSC rulings help to lay the groundwork
for that scenario.
