"Let Freedom Reign" is a nazi skinhead song.

I was confused about why Bush didn't write the words "Let Freedom RING" instead of "Let Freedom REIGN" which is what he wrote on Condi's little note.



So I googled "Let Freedom Reign" and look what pops up.

Coincidence?

10. I always hear "reign" in conjunction with kings & dictators
and "Let freedom ring!" is what people anticipate hearing regarding democracy.

That's why I googled the term in the first place!

7. OK, it was hard to go to the site, but it seems like the name of an ALBUM?
Is that the name of the ALBUM, or a song?

Seems like the song is called "Red Skin" and the Album is called "Let Freedom Reign" by "Hated and Proud."

But who the hell knows, when it comes to these sick fucks?

I didn't hang around the site long--I just grabbed the lyrics off the page that came up.

I see what you're saying now--that the song off the album is "Red Skin?"

Either way, Bush is a fuck-up no matter what falls out of his mouth.

13. I think it's more meant in contrast...
... to some of the "newer" posters around here, insisting Bush got "Let Freedom Reign" from Dr. Martin Luther King, and the poet Bedros Afeyan.

That's how I'm reading it. Of course, I'm one of the folks who thinks Bush probably meant to write "Let Freedom Ring!" instead. :D

Bush is just confused, he thought the words were "LET FREEDOM REIGN". Doubt the dipshit knew about the song.. for heaven's sake, it has more than 2 paragraphs! He'd never read it.

BUT.. his stupid ass comment on the note PROVES to me that I was RIGHT.. they pushed this damn sovereignty thing to coincide with 4th of July. "let freedom ring/reign" etc.. a 4th of July, Independence fucking day reference. REmember.. everything they DO is for political gain and photo op.

metaphors and expressions with words that "sound similar,"-- which likely underscores his underlying dyslexia, aphasia, or other learning and neurological difficulties. I think (in this case) suggesting he was both "proactive" and devious enough to be sending code out to his fascist constituents is probably giving him more credit than is due...

18. I have had several "Red" skinhead associates in the past.
They were fine, freedom-fighter, progressives. They were weak on patriarchy and gay issues, but good on everything else.
