The Constitution Party Presidential Nominee - Michael Peroutka
Edited on Tue Jun-29-04 07:02 PM by Kimber Scott
I saw a speech by the guy who is the Constitution Party's presidential nominee, Michael Peroutka on C-SPAN yesterday and he really put a dent in my ABB theory. This is theoretical, thank goodness, but, I'm wondering how many people, if the choices were limited to Bush, or Peroutka, would vote for Peroutka. If so, why?

Edited to add this link for those who don't know who this guy is. I didn't know anything about this party until yesterday.

7. Just curious.
What is wrong with the Natural Law party? I don't know much about them. I heard that Kucinich spoke to members of that party last year.

2. Straw man
ABB never referred to other parties. ABB meant that any 10 contenders for the Democratic Nomination was vastly better than Bush, and that an "ABBer" would support whoever won the nomination.

5. So there IS somebody worse than Bush? I was shocked to discover
this. At least, that was my initial impression. I mean, I've been thinking maybe the only person worse than Bush was Hitler, or bin Laden, Hussein, or somebody in the Taliban, but they are Americans, so they don't count. Apples and oranges.

So, I guess this is a perfect example of, no matter how bad it is, it can always be worse! LOL! (laughing on the outside, shaking nervously on the inside)

3. These guys scare me
Because they're like the GOP, except with a spine. As opposed to using hot-button issues to control and divide the masses for their massive corpo-fascist, wealth-concentration operation -- these guys actually believe that shit.

6. Saw the speech, he made some great points about the ...
constitution and he did make some great points about what a failure * is. Then he would go off on a right-wing tangent. I loved his story about how everyone says the 'US is broke'. He says no, and if we could pass a hat and somehow manage to collect $7 trillion and pay off our debt, THEN we'd be broke!

8. He got me with his women should stay at home attitude and the God
stuff. That was a little scary. I don't mind God stuff in church, or in the woods, I just don't want it weilded upon me by my government.

10. Here's his VP
Take a look at his vp. This guy is a preacher in my hometown and I hope everyone of his church going friends vote for him.

You folks really need to look at this one. It is scary.

11. Well, what a helpful site - "How to become a Christian," Confederate
Flags, "Freedom Documents" and a Memorial to Aborted Babies. How nice.
