Condoleeza Rice - Three Strikes and You're Out
1. According to Condi, there were not enough dots to connect, but now it appears there were hijack warnings pre-9/11. Strike 1.

2. According to her, there were so many dots on Saddam's WMD that she lead us into a war on a country which turns out to have posed no threat whatsoever. Strike 2.

3. The non-belligerency agreement Clinton signed with the North Koreans was discarded by Rice, threats were made against North Korea,
and now they are on their way to producing bomb-grade materials and bombs as fast as they can, while we have no real policy for dealing with this potentially very grave threat to us. Strike 3.

Is Rice the most utterly incompetent National Security adviser we have ever had? Isn't it time for her to hustle back to the Hoover Institution or wherever she came from?

1. Her "bowels of the agency" comment...
might go down as the "Read my lips" comment of this administration....

7. How would you like to work for the CIA and
have where you worked referred to as "the bowels of the agency"?
I think that would hurt my feelings.
;-)

2. As with most neo-cons...
Rice's speciality was Russian diplomacy. The biggest problem we've had since the late 1980s, was getting these obsolete fools to retire into some occupation that wouldn't hurt us. Obviously, we failed.

3. Is she not the WORST liar you've every seen?
One benefit that'll come out of any 9-11 press release that casts doubt on the contention that they never knew of anything but "traditional hijackings" is that they'll replay her quivering, misty-eyed, near-sobbing denials from April of '02. I want to see this again, and right afterwards, want to see Bill Schneider's "she was so calm and collected" assessment.

She's a pathetic specimin of a human being and a good example of the worst thing about academia in one organism: moderate intelligence with a psychotic aching to be presumed brilliant, decorum and degrees to bludgeon with unassailability and a plastic smugness to grate fingers on the metaphorical chalkboard of your mind.

I love that they keep trotting her out; it reminds me of the tone-deafness of this administration. Don Rumsfeld barking at Senator Pryor yesterday ("I already told you that, didn't I?") thinks he's being decisive and has the right to be the aggrieved party. Junior on Earth Day with an Axe over his shoulder is somehow "love of the environment" to these people, when in reality, it's an attempt at iconic masculinity in the misled guise of plant killing.

She is sickening, and the saving grace is that she's clearly lying, out of her depth and terrified. They're evil and incompetent and it shows.

4. Condoleeza Rice is a bald faced liar
What she said about 911 - "we had no idea" - was such an obvious blatant lie she should have been fired that day. That is, if there was any justice in the world.

WARNING IN 2001

The report will show that top Bush administration officials were warned in the summer of 2001 that the al Qaeda terrorist network had plans to hijack aircraft and launch a ``spectacular attack.''

13. I'm sure that the Bushies will find some way to blame Clinton
Even thought the intelligence was issued in August of 2001, when Bill was 7 months out of office.
I find it highly incompetent that officials would not take seriously warnings from Israel about muslim terrorists' plots. Not only did the Israelis warn them, the Egyptians and the Russians did, too. If it's not incompetence, it's something more sinister.
Gee I'm glad that we now have a president that doesn't get blow jobs.

10. Even though they were warned...
and Condi herself was warned not to ignore terrorism, they did.

Although, I guess we're "revising history" again...shame on us!

:)

14. From the Chimp-in-Chief himself
just yesterday:

"There's going to be, you know, a lot of attempts to try to rewrite history, and I can understand that."

June 17, 2003:

"Now there are some who would like to rewrite history— revisionist historians is what I like to call them."

Chimpy learned the expression from Condi who said, on June 13, 2003:

"Now we will see how long it takes us to interview people and to put together the full picture, but it is simply revisionist history to say that people were somehow making this threat more than it was..."

15. When I read Chimpy's quote yesterday I screamed
He is such a transparent liar and entitled spoiled brat (Yankee Blue-Blood pretending to be a "Heartland-Texan.")that I can not even fathom believing him about which way the wind blows. I am screaming again, thanks.

18. Here is what we are forgetting!
This administration "swaggered" into office with the "giddy" agenda of UNDOING everything that Clinton had made progress on: Beginning with the ME...it was a hand's off policy (a wink and a nod to Sharon); it was "bring the troops back from Bosnis, we are not the policemen of the world; it was "let's just ignore the national security brief and the written report by the Gingrich-Hart-Rudman et. al committee; it was "let's focus on turning back those environmental laws and whacko air quality standards;" it was all about restoring honor and dignity to the WH; it was all about the "adults" being in charge; it was all about hughe tax cuts for the wealthy; it was all about union busting and busting California and taking some econmic shots across the boughs of the "blue states;" it was all about arrogance, controlling the media and the message, the new world order (PNAC) and the military-industrial-complex.

Now what is it all about?
It sure ain't about the American people and our country!
