Like a FOX on the run.....
Edited on Sat Jul-10-04 09:14 AM by kentuck
Everybody got a kick out of the NY Post headline that had prematurely called Gephardt as Kerry's running mate. It was a major faux pas, literally. As well as very embarrassing to the right-wing network. Then the truth came out : it was Rupert Murdoch himself that had ordered the headline! Yeah, that would be embarrassing.

Then, on top of that, there is a new movie about 4 former employees who are blowing the whistle on FOX's employee practices. Seems they wanted their reporters to follow a right-wing script? They were told what to say about certain political events and political players. And they were requested to sign a form not to divulge any of the information once they were no longer with FOX. When you look at the reporters on FOX, just think of how well they are playing their roles?

FOX has threatened to declare war on MSNBC and CNN as a response to their embarrassing actions. No doubt, they do not like being on the defensive, and they do not like the fact they their cover has been blown. They are a right-wing propaganda tool.

8. I absolutely agree
What has to happen is that a group of prominent journalists has to get together and form a cooperative, that has a paper and a network -- and cover both sides of issues. There is always a conservative or liberal slant (we full well know all the media we get now has a conservative slant) -- why not slant them both, but present both points?

A media war is exactly what we need.

4. Adoring Fox

My right wing father in law adores Fox... you can imagine how we go at it... this expose will be good for the country... but he will pass it off as left wing gobbly de gook... and go right on believin. I have had great disgust for what Fox has done over the last 3 years... they need to be banned from the airwaves for spinning everything the way they do.

10. I'm buying it
It's only ten bucks for dvd or video and I think it's important to support these folks. Plus, it should be an interesting movie.
