smirkboy continued his golf game after terror attack??
Edited on Tue Aug-19-03 05:23 PM by leftchick
Did I see this correctly? At the 4:00 news round up on CNN I saw Suzanne Malvaux at the pigfarm relating chimpy's reaction to the bombing in Baghdad. They showed footage of aWol taking a cellphone call (sweating like the pig he is) he then jumps in the golf cart. I thought he would next be seen heading out in the monster SUV but NO he took another SHOT off a tee. WTF?!? I do know the news whores will let this go without any comments but WTF?!? This man gets more passes than any human deserves in Ten lifetimes....Disgusting :grr:

3. I heard otherwise on NPR.
They reported that he cut his game short and headed back to the ranch to be "briefed". Whether he went one last hole or not they didn't say.

4. shallow . . . sort of like Seinfeld characters
when Elaine stopped and bought popcorn and jujy fruits after she heard her boyfriend was in the hospital following an accident. Although dubya is the lowest and real - scary!

One GOOD thing - all the characters ended up going to jail in the end for being so shallow, let's hope . . . .

7. Yeah, when he plays golf, they unplug the direct control wires...
he had to wait for a cell phone call to be informed that it might be a tad inappropriate to continue the round.

8. Well, two points
One, he is on his monthlong vacation. A vacation from sleeping 10 to 12 hours a day. So maybe he was in no position to handle the news. Perhaps he was very drunk, or on cocaine agian.

Two, its not like you should be suprised. Nothing can make this guy stop and care. Remember 9/11, when he sat there with that class and didn't do a damn thing?

11. Why is this described as a "terror attack"?
It appears that the Iraqis have formed resistance groups to oust those who invaded, conquered and now occupy their country.

Why is a negative label attached to their struggle to re-take their country from foreign invaders who are pillaging their resources?

I don't understand this concept on DU...its part of the RW propaganda to disparage the movement of Iraqis to regain control of their own country. Why aren't they "freedom fighters?"

If this country were attacked, conquered and occupied by a superior foreign force that was terrorizing our citizens and stealing our resources, what would we call Americans who engaged in guerilla warfare to oust the invaders of America?

12. Terrorism is any opposition or resistance to the bush regime

And this is being spun all wrong. The President once again demonstrated his personal committment to the War on Terror when he interrupted his golf game to be briefed on the latest terrorist attack against Pro-Coalition forces in Iraq.

18. Sorry
I didn't mean to rant. I'm just really fed up with this invasion thing with sons about to be draft age.

Please excuse my diatribe. :-)
I didn't mean to be such a snarky poster.
