More simply, Kerry is a 9th cousin to Dubya's grandfather and Bush would be an 11th cousin to Kerry's grandkids. Isn't that peachy ?

if you go back far enough, everyone is related....and when it comes to people of European descent, "far enough" is 1200 years or less (in other words, recently enough for a documented ancestry, in many cases). I'm apparently related to both Bush and Kerry, as well as Albert Schweitzer, Hermann Goering, Himphrey Bogart, and something like 24 Presidents....distantly related, of course, but related nonetheless. Kind of leads me to the conclusion that part of the reason humanity is so fucked up is because we're all catastrophically inbred...heh.
