Bush- the "peace" President? (Iowa speech)
Apparently Peggy Noonan got to him -- suddenly he's going all fluffy, releasing his inner dove-- says he wants to be the "peace President." What happened to wanting to be the "education President?"

After 4 years of Cheney the Hut, maybe Bush just wants to be "President."

1. Karen Hughes is applying her caramel coating
It is her job, you know. We can thank her for 2000's compassionate conservative.

6. Hughes....
is as nasty a piece of work as can be imagined.
Looks like someone who'd put arsenic in the bake sale cookies
because they wouldn't take "My Two Mommies" off the shelf, or maybe even
"Catcher in the Rye."

Peggy Noonan is just as bad, worse in some ways, because she
has a more cultured voice when spouting her imbecilities;
sort of a repug phone sex voice, soft but stern at the same time. I'd love to look in her closet...the one with the combination lock.

I once saw her on a "Win Ben Stein's" money and Jimmy Kimmel was trying to get her to loosen up....sort of like Groucho trying to
loosen up Margaret Dumont.

7. They seem so nice and resonable and normal and concerned
which makes the evil devils ever so dangerous. To me the worst two of a very bad group. Glad I am not the only one.

5. The "Peace President" will be based on the theme....
"The world is a better place with Saddam gone". In other words....we have set the scene for a LASTING peace. And with Libya and others now ready to hand over WMD....just look at what we've accomplished.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Truth is....the REAL "Iraq scenario" would unfold if Bush were to get a second term.

They were really hoping for a "slam dunk" in Iraq so they could move on to IRAN. IRAN is this real Iraq scenario because they really DO have WMD and a high probability of a deployable nuke capability.

IRAN is the REAL threat to Israel in terms of nukes and they are on a road right now...full steam ahead...to become "invasion proof"....so as not to become another "Iraq" in US/Israel crosshairs.

Bush and the nuclear paranoid neocons are on top of all of this.
They would NEVER sit idly as this REAL power develops unknown WMD and a nuke capability that could be potentially used against Israel.

So....we can look forward to surgical strikes on Iran IF he gets another 4 years....and pretty soon after the election I'd bet. These people are the KINGS of "acceptable risk" and they will move ahead with strikes and work strategically through the War Powers Act.
