How long before Las Vegas takes bets on how many GI's

will be killed on a given day? Perhaps they are already doing it, but I haven't heard.

I'm not a gambler, so I got this second-hand. Apparently the closer we get to 1000, the heavier the betting.

Seems pretty freaky to me, but what the cheney do I know? I don't even play the lottery unless they stick a big sign in front of me at the Quickie Mart saying, "NOW IT'S A SKILLION BUCKS!" and then I get a few computer-chosen slips.
