6. Cal looks like the guy in one of those 50s porn movies
– the one who creeps in the window, and wears garters with his black socks. He's got that patent leather hair and moustache, too.

Ever notice how big his head is compared to Neal Gabler who sits next to him on the Media Watch show?

2. ehh... it was
Edited on Sat Jul-24-04 10:31 PM by neoteric lefty
about '64 (or '68) convention and how Hoover wire-tapped civil-rights' leaders. Mostly a historical conversation. It was weird to see them two on the NOW set with the FAUX news ticker going along the bottom. Had to do a double-take. :)

3. Last week Thomas was on NOW. Also they need a few Dems
NOW that their policies have been exposed.

5. Just before, Cal had Hodding Carter and Sander Vanocur on,
talking about the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party and the '64 dem convention.

And I thought Cal mentioned a 'small bit' he did for the '68 convention?!? But don't think I heard what it was, I'll check the tape.

And when asked what he remembered of the '64 convention, Sander mentioned that one thing was NBC having an 82 pct audience share!

That was a good half-hour of tv. Weird.

7. Cracking Heads, No Doubt.
And I thought Cal mentioned a 'small bit' he did for the '68 convention?!?

Or tear gassing and throwing people through plate glass windows on Michigan Ave.

8. It was a trade.
How did Moyers hold up? (Well, I'd assume.) I wouldn't watch Faux, but did it come off well?
