NBC story on our burdened National Guard troops in Iraq.
Briefly interview two Guardsmen on long term tours in Iraq.

Military is saying that retention and recruiting "remains strong."

Anybody see any proof of that? A statistic, for instance?

Is anything about the difference in pay between the civilian job left behind and the military pittance that the wife is left to pay the bills with.

We need a few good men, who dont mind killing innocent civilians in Iraq
Join the Navy see the world, then blow it up

that didn't happen?

yep, theres still lots of angry young white guys out there pounding their chests about 'killin' some ragheads' - but not too dam many backin' it up with action.
