Then CNN can complete their changeover to "The Flyboy Channel" and Fox can just put T.H.K. on a video loop and run it continuously in the lower corner of the crawl for the next three straight months.

That's no accident, of course -- it's for the advertising revenue.

But in Real Life™, far, far fewer people get their news from cable news channels than from network broadcast news. CBS tonight hasn't 'gone negative' on the Democratic convention -- if anything, the coverage has been fairly complimentary so far.

Listening to the Al Franken show this afternoon, he cited the stats to show this.

It's a bit early to throw in the towel.
