How will they kill time at the RNC? 4 Days of Bush Praising? Impossible!
After watching some of yesterday's DNC, I was left wondering just how awful the speeches at the RNC are going to be.

Seriously, they will have to praise Bush, speech after speech, but what in the world can they say? That he is steady? Compassionate? Intelligent? Competent?

I know they will spend most of their time bashing Kerry and Gay Marriage and whatnot, but I think they will be unable to find a positive message to focus on. Their convention is going to be a disaster in every way.

Our message is all about how we're going to improve the awful state our country is in. They're the ones that got us here. Surely they can't harp on this modern day nazi state they've created as good?

Ron Reagan Jr, oh, forgot, he spoke at the Dem convention. Then a rip roaring speech by Bush the Elder followed by a censored rousing rhetoric by Cheney then the coup d'etat . . .

Chimpy . . .

Should be a must-see event, all right!!!

10. The only decent speaker they really have is Elizabeth Dole
She at least has a little energy.

Otherwise, the RNC Convention is going to be a snoozefest.

the media knows that it is impossible to portray bush in a good light for more than a few minutes at a time so they needed to cut time for the convention and killed two birds with one stone. less time for the DNC so the public can't find out just how terrific Kerry is and less time for the RNC so the public isn't shown what a schmuck asshole fucktard bush is.

Lee Greenwood singing "God Bless the USA!" You know, the kind of heart-swelling, tear-staining tripe that equates being a proud American with being a Republican.

And I think it will flop because I think Americans, including some Republicans, deep down inside, are a little too jaded by current events to fall for it.

Just what in the hell are they going to talk about? There isn's a record to run on, just a one to run from. So, yes I imagine it will be four days of st. ronnie and god bless america, days of negativity is bound to backfire though, hope they show something good on the cable channels that week.
