Will someone PLEASE explain Scarboy to me?

He absolutely LOVE Elizabeth Edwards AND Teresa Kerry.

I have only seen him flipping through stations and my impression WAS that he was another Rush. What's up?

Last night a protester screamed her name at him on TV before they hustled her off. I suspect that Joe might be feeling a little scared. That's probably why he's making nice.

Second theory - he's getting ready to cheer and cry though the RNC, and laying the groundwork for claiming to have been unbiased.

I honestly don't know what his deal is. I've saw him be rather nice during the Dem primaries and he was okay when he went to Hollywood and did some pieces there too. Then he turns around on his program and turns into a crazed wingnut. Who's the real Joe Scarborough?

11. I completely agree with you

that's been my take on him too: nice during the primaries and (from what I've seen) nice during the convention. His regular show is a different story.

7. He's a Repub who's been told to try to be neutral. So he does his

best, but his Repub-ness slips through occasionally.

If he's too partisan, he'll lose his privilege of being a guest pundit on the other shows. He was a senator or congressman, so he's not as obnoxious and vile as Rush. He's more diplomatic than that. But he's still very much a Repub.

(He seems to take it easier on the wives of the candidates. Maybe because I think there's a female scandal in his past, so he takes it easy in that area, lest others re-mention his past. But if I'm misremembering his past, maybe someone can correct me on this. I don't want to start a rumor.)

our letters and emails are working! When enough complaints are coming in from viewers and he's losing share, that new baby needs shoes and he's going to choose a paycheck to support his family over ideology...especially when he sees that we are serious and our movement is growing.

Damn! I missed the protester...been watching mostly CSPAN.
