5. Someone swore? I missed that. Looks like a bit of a glitch
They interviewed the lady in charge of balloons the other day. She said that there is a thingy rigged back stage so that the balloons will blow out over the stage because there is a "roof/ledge/shelf that gets in the way........ They said there was about 1,000 lbs of confetti up there. Yikes.
12. CNN did know. I had a couple of channels on and CNN just happened to have
the guys mike on. What a coincidence. Why in the world would they have the guys mike on unless they knew in advance the balloons were not going to come down? They guy was cursing for god's sake and they continued to air it.
13. I dont think they knew the balloons were messed up, BUT
I do think they had his mic on by accident until they realized that he was probably going to cuss a blue streak then they left it on on purpose. Of course, theres always the possibility that his mic was being recorded on purpose from the get go if they know the guy had a knack for cussing.
I think if the balloons were messed up, we would have heard something by now re sabotage.
If it was an accident, they would not let it go on for a couple of minutes. I had 3 different channels on, cnn was the only one that had the guys mike on. and they let it go on for a long time. They thought it was funny otherwise they would not let it go on forever.
to see how soon it would be before they started their neg. spin. The open mic was on for a while and I remember thinking that CNN could have found the glitch by now but I bet they are waiting for this guy to swear. He was so frustrated you could feel it coming. Sure enough he did. Then suddenly they shut off the feed.
