Question: I have 24 hour access to the BBC and I would like to know
when is a good time to watch that channel. I know the BBC is better than anything broadcast in this country but I'm not sure when to watch. Any help is appreciated.

1.  You must have a dish?
I might consider a dish just to watch the BBC. I hate our news in this country....it's useless. IMO.

2. Tony----
I have the same access. From visiting in England and watching, I would assume that it's the usual 5 hour lag. In other words, kinda of go by when Americans would be listening to their news according to their clocks and adjust it for BBC time. Obvously, they are going to give their morning news at, say 6/7/8 in the morning and not at 1 p.m. their time!!! Just think "5 hours" and then adjust. Now, that is different from the BBC America which is broadcast from here.

You can listen to BBC 24/7 at http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/fivelive.shtml They have a morning show which I listen to all the time which is repeated at http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/fivelive_aod.shtml?morning Fiona Glover was the host, she left to move to New York to write a book about "hate radio" as she termed it I hope she does 2004 election coverage for the BBC.
