Just back from an anti-Bush rally in Dover, OH

About a hundred and fifty Kerry supporters rallied on the Dover town square this morning from 10 till a little after 1 when Bush's* buses came through town. We were loud, colorful and very , very wet. Bush* stopped downtown at a little candy shop, went in a purchases something. Let's all hope that it wasn't the chocolate covered pretzels. As much as I dislike Bush*, I would not want a Cheney presidency.

Two really cool things: 1. We got a thumbs up from someone on the press bus. 2. A young red head named Katie stopped her car as I was walking home and said she loved my sign. (912 PAIR -- EMPTY BOOTS --- 0 WMD --- VOTE BUSH OUT) I gave her my Kerry Edwards pin. She said she was a veteran who had lost three friends in Iraq. She had voted for Bush, but there was no way that she would vote for him again. Her entire family will be voting Kerry-Edwards this year.
