Yeah, valiant. It's not a friggin' draft. He signed up, he should get out there and fight like he is supposed to. I don't care what he thinks of the war. He signed up for every unjust war that might come along.

4. Except that
When you are 18 years old and don't know which way is up - between the pushy recruiters and the glorifying "Be all that you can be" ads - it is easy for someone to get sucked into something that you had no clue about. Yes, he is responsible for his actions but the military recruiters need to be accountable as well. For starters, they should stay the hell off of high school campuses. Or at the very least they should have to have a signed waiver from a parent or guardian to talk to a kid. Right now it is the other way around. A parent has to sign a form to keep them away from a kid.
