4. To their credit
they are reporting Smirk's crackdown on Cuban-American visits home from one a year to once in 3 years.

5. Yes, indeed.

I detected a hint of argument for American freedoms (like travel to Cuba). I'm amazed.

Ricardo Alarcon is the real power in Cuba, not Castro. Alarcon is the president of the (elected) Cuban parliament - (the national assembly).

as a waiter in an Italian restaurant and likes it.

Elian is a normal 10-yr. old kid, happy and laughing, taking karate lessons. The Miami Relatives will most likely come out and say this kid on TV was an actor – an imposter.

8. Bush's travel ban is a f-ing heartbreak. Bastard
I have to admit that I'm choking back a few tears.

Its reminded me that I can't go to Cuba to see my many friends either. :-( :-(

7. Maybe Elian will be El Presidente of Cuba one day.
Wouldn't that be a wonderful story?
