thinking about Orange

seems like all the TV talk yesterday on the Orange threat boiled down to:

-we have a specific threat but not specifics on the specific-

the bushgang wants NYC to be empty of people and full of cops and the military before the rep. conv.

than the usual chatter. But it's not so specific that we can do much about it. But it's so specific we're raising the threat level. Not that it means you can do anything specific. But just go about your usual business. But we warn you, we're on high alert."

...but the absence of fear.

This system is insane. It's almost comical, except it's actually being implemented by the government.

3. The reason you know the alert is crap

They still tell people to go to work, go shopping, live your lives as you normally would.

Honestly, if we the gov't had its act together before 9/11, they had enough info to shut down the WTC. All this tells me is they still don't have their act together.
