our first African American President at some point, probably in the not-to-distant future.

He sure seems like a brilliant, accomplished statesman the likes of which we deserve, as Americans.

We better keep an eye on this man!

5. I cannot understand the fear of black men?? by white men???
I am a white woman and wonder why white men fear black men so much?? I want a president for ALL of us...not a pResident only for the rich. The rich do not need to be cared for the poor do!!! And the middle class needs to be promoted not devistated.

Anyway, Barak Obama would be a perfect president for ALL of America..and I love his speach about how we are not seperate but diverse. What a (skinny man with a funny name!) man for the century!

12. My personal theory ...

I think that people of the same sex but DIFFERENT races tend to distrust each other because they are typically different cultural groups AND they are reacting to primitive desires to compete.

By contrast, I think that opposite-sex, different race people tend to get along better because sexual attraction transcends cultural boundries.

Thats just my theory. Personally, I find women of different race than myself exotic and intriguing.

6. This may sound strange...
... but the image of Obama as president of the U.S. seems very Star Trek to me - it sends the image of a people finally beyond their petty classes and borders and working for a better future.

Anyone else know what I mean?

7. What about Supreme Court Justice?
I think it was mentioned that he's an attorney, made the Princeton Law Review and has done lots of work with the ACLU. Sounds like an excellent candidate for the bench to me.

They seem to have written the Senate race off, but expect them to come after him and come after him HARD starting next year. I'm already hearing people on the conservtaive talk shows and websites calling him "Barack Osama" and "Barack Yo' Mama". They will do anything to destroy him.

BTW, Don't put it beyond the Busheviks to dump Cheney and pick up Powell in order to attempt drawing minority voters away from Democrats.
