Brilliant, succinct and to the point. I don't think anybody could have said it better. Not Edwards, not Kerry. That is great.

These schmucks just aren't used to an "alien entity" like her - someone who is intelligent, informed, involved, and with a VERY quick comeback. And even worse, someone who's absolutely unafraid to USE those gifts. The Bad Guys like us Democrats, liberals, and progressives cowed or semi-comatose. That's the only way they can deal with us. They flip out completely when we start fighting back - having been spoiled by the invertebrates of the recent past. It's good for two reasons:

First: the MERE FACT that we've got gutsy people out front who are VERY willing to fight back, and

Second: they're flabby, and rusty. They haven't had challenging opponents in the longest time, which has rendered them extremely ill-equipped to deal with quick-thinking, quick-reacting, and hard-hitting responders.

They've spent years kicking the shit out of hot-air balloons and bags of wet spaghetti, and thinking they're so tough and mean and invincible. But now, the person climbing into the ring opposite them is starting to look a little like Evander Holyfield.
