Disregarding all the information that WE have regarding the government's complicity in the attacks, the 9/11 commission spreads blame evenly between the Clinton and bush* administrations.

Here's the part that I don't understand. No significant mention is ever made of Poppy. Again, disregarding all we know about his nefarious activities, and going only with what is factual...

Poppy was head of the CIA for four years - in my opinion, at the time when the CIA was factionalized. Jimmy Carter tried to purge the CIA and Poppy was the one who began setting up the "darker" side of the CIA

Poppy was vice president for 8 years - in my opinion, he was actually president for the last four due to Reagan's Alzheimers. During this time he was directly involved with the aftermath of the 1979 October Surprise. i.e. dealing arms in the middle east.

Poppy was president for 4 years.

So that's 16 years of being being involved in the highest levels of the intelligence community. But the punditry, liberal and conservative, speak in terms of how Poppy was such a great diplomat and coalition builder. HORSE SHIT I say.

What say you?

1. BurytheHatchet, right on with Poppy and lets count in Prescott Bush.
That's when all this started with Iran Contra etc.
Poppy is darkness, Prescott Bush worse.
The whole Bush Crime squad bring all their baggage along.

2. I agree we know a lot more than the media about the crime family
but my point is why poppy has escaped ANY substantive criticism.

The image we see is of a elderly patriarch who detachedly mutters "golly gee, if dubya wants my advice I'll offer it". Bullshit you bastard, you are the architect of this evil empire.

3. Poppy is the Caryle Group
And I think Prescott paved the way with the elite.
The whole squad should be brought up on international war crimes.
They all should be sitting in a Hague jail cell.
And they know it...after they cut through all their delusions.
