27.37% - More likely to vote for the Democratic ticket
41.36% - Less likely
31.28% - It didn't make a bit of difference

The fact is that since I was already on board before the convention, it actually DIDN'T make a difference to me. So does that mean the convention wasn't effective? To me, this survey assumes a conservative point of view in the first place, as I've noticed with many polls these days.

2. I agree. When one of the choices is

"doesn't make a difference" the results can look confusing. The convention didn't change my mind because I was already going to vote for Kerry but if I answer "It didn't make a bit of difference" I think that can make it look bad. The survey seems to assume that everyone taking it was not likely to vote for him before taking it.
