Poll question: Quick survey - Dean or Kerry
If you still had a choice - would you pick Dean or Kerry? Especially from the latest comments that Dean made on Sunday on politicizing the terror alerts.

1. I will recuse myself from participation. I dont want a Dean vs. Kerry war
I chose Dean for a reason in the primaries, but Kerry has his advantages against Bush as well. :hi:

2. stop effing bashing Dean
I completely agree with Dean's comments.

I support Kerry because he is a stronger candidate in this political environment than Dean, but Dean has better ideas, passion and political courage.

5. I loved Dean's comments but if he was the nominee...
I can guarantee you that he wouldn't have said the same thing. Disagree if you will, and I know we all like to think that Dean always speaks the truth first and foremost and political ramifications be damned. But if he were the democratic candidate there would be a whole other set of rules he'd need to consider whether we like it or not.

11. I agree with you
NOT being the nominee gives Dean a heck of a lot more freedom. I think he's more effective in this role as the attack dog than he would be as the nominee.

13. The point is this..
I was just trying to get a feel if there was a buyer's remorse yet. But looking at the polls, it's almost dead even.

I'm a Deaniac, but will vote for Kerry to get Bush out. I'm ABB at this point.

12. Oh, this is helpful!
Let's stir up old divisions. That'll do us a lot of good.

Dr. Dean, for what it's worth, wouldn't be well advised to make the comments he did on Sunday if he was the candidate. He's acting as Kerry's surrogate. It's an old RW tactic, and it's about time we smarten up and start using it.

15. Locking
The primaries are over. If you prefer Dean to Kerry, that's fine, but returning this issue to the message board is a pointless exercise that only serves to reignite old flame wars and divide the community.
