There is this old joke that seems to be appropriate today.

A man on a train sees his seatmate lighting matches and throwing them out the window.
"Why are you doing that?" he asks.
The man says, "I do it to keep the elephants away!"
The first man looks out the window. "I don't see any elephants."
The man nods his head. "See? See how effective this is?"

Tom Ridge has upped then security color code to Orange for parts of the country. If nothing happens in the nature of a terrorist attack, will Ridge and Bushie brag about how effective the color chart has been?

P>S>: Can we start calling Ridge our Agent Orange?
