I turned it on long enough to hear him call for this:

LITIGATION reform

about eight words was all it took to click off

why aren't they calling it tort reform anymore?

does that phrase not TEST well?

3. People like torts
Strawberry, cinnamon, even the new toaster sticks they've come up with.

Probably because the general population doesn't understand what a tort is.

And besides, have you ever tasted a litigation-flavored pop tort?

4. Of course "Litigation Reform" tests well / anti-Edwards
Of course they want to push the "litigation reform" meme into people's minds, because they then equate it to "Edwards evil trial lawyer".

5. The latest freeper claim: lawsuits are welfare for lawyers.
I tried hard not to laugh because the comment was coming from a neighbor in my Association which meets the description of a predator freeper. Just to illustrate, he was one of the ones who were part of a conspiracy to take over common grounds in the Association several years ago; when that failed, he got on the board for a year as a treasurer then quickly resigned before the end of his term. We discovered later that about the same time as his term, the taxes on Association common ground were improperly filed, and it had been going on for four years after his term before anyone caught it. The new treasurer left once she figured out how corrupt these creeps are and freeper-boy just recently took the position over, probably because he thinks that as member of the board all his legal fees will be paid if someone sues him. So, there he was making a comment that lawsuits are just welfare for lawyers. Gee, I wonder if he thinks he's going to get sued someday?
