Governor Dean will appear on CNN's Anderson Cooper 360, airing at 7:00 p.m. EDT. Be sure to tune in!

If it weren't for you I'd miss half of Dean's appearances, at least!

The blog misses a lot of them, but they caught this one. He was just great last night on Hardball and McEnroe. I tape them, and one of our DFA group here often makes DVDs to share, or duplicates the videotapes. So I try to stay on top of the appearances.

It keeps us on "top of it", too!:D

he's been everywhere lately working his butt off to free America. Edwards has better hair but Dean is doing his job for him.

Dean was great. Now they have some hack from the bush administration calling Dean bizzare and claiming Dean is a senior advisor to the Kerry campaign.
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa...bit whiny crybaby republicans.
I hope the Kerry campaign has the guts to NOT distance itself from Dean's statements or I swear to God I am writing Dean on my ballot in November.

I've even read that he's a gay man and is, compared to most of what you see on CNN, more progressive in the way he handles topics on air.

He keeps trying to make Kerry look bad by saying Dean is a senior advisor to Kerry. Please JK, have the sense to NOT be a weasel this time when they ask you about Dean.

Why the hell are people trying to spin what Dean said the way the Repukes want you to?

Dean never said it was just politics...he said there was SOME truth to the alerts and SOME politics. He emphasized it was a shame that we can't KNOW the truth because of the way Bushies INSERT politics into it.

Kerry did NOT distance himself from Dean, only said Dean is entitled to his opinion, and he would NOT drop Dean as a spokesman when the mediawhores were trying to goad him into it.

Why the heck do YOU keep repeating media distortion and accusing Kerry of something he DID NOT DO? There are plenty of Dean loyalists here who heard Kerry and thought he handled the question well and with class by NOT giving into the media pressure for him to denounce Dean.

We all have our own brains, eyes and ears. I heard Kerry, I know what he said. He said he disagreed with Dean. I know what I think of Kerry, you are going to have to get over it. If I didn't know better I would think you were John Kerry's mother.
Why waste your time spinning Kerry to me here at DU? I'm voting for the guy, get over the fact that I also think he's sometimes a weasel and I couldn't give a damn about any supposed class he is showing.

And certainly not anyone who comes to a Democratic forum, mischaracterizes what he said and then threatens not to vote for him.

And noone is doing Dean or Kerry any favors by mischaracterizing what Dean said, either. Dean didn't dismiss the alert completely as the media is spinning it, he made the much SHREWDER point that the truth is lost when you mix it WITH the politics like the way Ridge did at his press conference.

I want to smack this guy really hard. He is not answering questions, hes just coming out totally insulting Dean.

Anderson Cooper did a stand up job not letting that wacko right wing whiner tell any stories that weren't true.

I agree..this and other political tactics by the rw needs to be brought out and talked about ..otherwise we just get railroaded, again! And I know Dean et al Do Not want this anymore than we do.

They do notice when they get good notes.

I would think if cnn's audience demanded the truth then they would have to give it. If there were a market for it..so to speak.

Thank you for allowing Howard Dean a forum to air his views which, at this point, a majority of Americans seem to agree with. If Mr. Bush truly wants to be a "war president", then he's going to have to level with the American people, stop hyping these terror alerts every time his poll numbers come down, FIND OSAMA, and get us the heck out of that mess in Iraq he got us into with his flawed analysis of the intelligence.
