Organized freeper attack on Manchurian Candidate
Looking at Yahoo Movies

Even the NEWSPAPER REVIEWER from Atlanta gave it a D+!

Ouch. The Right Wing is smarting from this film.

They apparently were told to say "Not as good as the original" and "too long", because those are the two criticisms they use.

Think I'll have to go see it.

2. Read the book!
Having read the book, the first movie was a disappointment. I imagine the second movie will be worse. I read the book about a week before Kennedy was assassinated and it scared the hell out of me.

3. It's too long because their attention span is too short -
They need everything in sound bytes.

4. We Just Saw It
it was okay - I could see the Bush crime family killing someone so one of their boys would be exactly where one of them is today.

Luckily all they had to do was disenfranchise several thousand African Americans - have the majority of the Supreme Court and the pathetic media willing to close their eyes to a coup...

5. Maybe it really is too long and not as good as the original.

Who here has seen it and what do you think?

6. Joel Segal (sp?) on Good Morning America loved it
He didn't spoil it, but he said you won't breathe during the last 20 minutes. He said don't compare it to the original, it's a completely different type of movie.

I'm looking forward to it.

7. I saw it, liked it.
I also liked the original, but thought the new version was even creepier, darker and more paranoid. Listen very closely whenever there is a news broadcast in the background. And look at the map of red and blue states during the election scene toward the end. You can use it to figure out which party the evil Senator Shaw belongs to.
